HOW TO BLEACH YOUR RED OIL WITHOUT USING FIRE*

Are you tired of using the traditional fire based method to bleach your red oil? Do you want to improve the quality and efficiency of your palm oil in soap production? Worry no more because in today’s lesson I’ll be teaching you how to bleach your red oil without using fire. So now let’s introduce the game changing solution;

My name is Johnson Job the Co-founder of Edumers Laundrix production. Whenever I buy red palm oil for my soap production, instead of spending money on gas or firewood to cook the oil to bleach. What I normally do is I’ll add few drops of chemical to the palm oil and it will completely bleach to groundnut oil colour . Now the question is “how do I do it”. That is what I’ll be teaching you in today’s lesson.

Here I am going to be using two types of industrial chemicals, which are Sulphuric acid and Hydrogen Peroxide. Sulphuric acid is a thick black Liquid while Hydrogen peroxide is a colourless liquid like water. But I’ll advice you to wear your safety tools like gloves when using these two chemicals for oil bleaching because they are acids. But a weak acids though.

Let’s know the process;

First of all, you’ll need a scale. NOTE that measurements in mil or grams are the same unit so either one you choose to use is actually okay. Let’s dive in. Let’s say you want to bleach 500ml of red palm oil, what have to do is to Measure 500 mil of the red oil into a container, then measure in 5mil of Sulphuric acid and put in the oil container, stir and leave it for about 10 minutes and note the change in colour. It’ll change from the originally red oil to black. Then after the 10 minutes, measure also 5mil of Hydrogen peroxide and add to the oil then stir it again. Within 2 hours, the entire oil will change from red palm oil to groundnut oil colour.

Our method minimize the risk of accidents and injuries associated with traditional fire based oil bleaching so don’t let traditional fire based oil bleaching method hold you back.

Of course You might not really understand much from what I just write here but if you want to watch a step by step tutorial on how it’s being made in our factory, then click below πŸ‘‡ to watch the short video to the end
