Brown sugar solution adds a rich caramel colour, a natural exfoliating texture and also enhance lather and cleansing of your soap.
This brown sugar solution requires just 2 simple ingredients which are: granulated sugar and water.
*Now let’s see process*
Pour some granulated sugar into a sauce pan or pot, place it on a low heat to burn. It will gradually turn to a dark brown crystal.
Next , add in some water when it all turns to brown to avoid crystalization and let it cook again for a while. Then add another cold water to it. The cold water cause thermos hock and make Suger hardened up.
Allow it to sit on a very low heat so as to gradually dissolve back but it’ll take some time.
The brown colour will look so magnificent, you can call it Bam Glam brown solution, any time you use it for soap 😀 because that was where I learned it from.
This will serve as your brown colour for your soap making as it is always difficult to get a brown oil soluble colour in the chemical market.
N/B. Adding sugar to your soap does not only help to glycerinate your soap, but also boost your foam and give you a silky feel and texture. Yes! Suger is a foam booster, you can incorporate it in your soap making formula as well.
Lastly, when everything dissolve, you can proceed to bottling it in an Air tight container and store it for any time uses…
