This simple but powerful formula is not only cost-effective, but also scale able, easy to produce, and ideal for local market or bulk supply but you have to be very smart while producing it in order to have a perfect outcome.
Each of these 3 major ingredients plays a unique and essential role in giving your liquid soap that luxurious foaming, cleansing power and commercial appeal.
First , the Texapon act as the base, provides foam and cleansing power without harshness.
Second, the SLS looks like rice grains, it is a strong foaming and cleansing agent that works in energy with Texapon for better performance. it’s create thick and satisfying lather.
Third, the Salt _ not just kitchen staple! It is used as a natural thickener, turning your soap into a gel-like liquid that customers expects, also acts as cleansing agent and color maintenance to fabrics.
To make this, you’ll be needing these essential ingredients these listed quantities:
– 500 grams of SLS
– 800 grams of Texapon
– 1kg of salt
– 20 litters of water
– Perfume (of your choice)
– water soluble Colour (of your choice)
*Now let’s know the Process*
– The first thing is to dissolve SLS in about 5 litters of water in a separate container, stir to mix then allow it to dissolve.
N/B. You’re to use water from your measured water throughout the production. I’ll also advice you to dissolve your solid chemicals ahead of any production you’re going to make.
Caution: During these production, make sure that you have your nose mask and your hand gloves on because SLS has a choking effect and also work in an open environment.
– step 2: Dissolve your preferred colour and set it aside as well.
– step 3: Pour the remaining water into your mixing bowl, then go in with your Texapon and stir thoroughly to mix for about 10 minutes until everything dissolves in the water.
Make sure you get your chemicals from a trusted source to avoid buying fake or expired chemicals! Of course you know what that means.
– step 4: After the stirring, go in with the SLS solution, stir for about 10 to 15 minutes depending on how fast you’re stirring it.
– The next thing is to add the cooking salt and stir thoroughly to mix. You can dissolve yours if you want.
At this point, the soap will change it’s texture to a thicken gel-like texture. But if you don’t notice any change at this stage, that simply means something is wrong.
– You can now go in with your colour and perfume.
N/B. Don’t add Colour and Perfume directly to the soap. Scoop a little quantity of the Soap into a separate container, then go in with the colour and Perfume , stir it to mix then pour it into the main soap and give it a good stir. Leave it to settle at least 12 hrs, and then proceed to bottling.
