– 250 grams of calcium hypochlorite
– 250 grams of soda ash
– 125 grams of caustic soda
– 5 litters of water
*The step by step process*
Caution: make sure to wear protective tools before going into any production.
– First of all add caustic soda into the water, stir well to dissolve
– Add in Soda ash, stir again to dissolve.
– Then go in with the calcium hypochlorite.
N/B. Make sure the soda ash and the caustic soda are dissolved before adding the calcium hypochlorite.
The calcium hypochlorite is water soluble but it’s takes time to dissolve properly. After adding it, stir well to mix then cover it up in an air tight container for 3 days in other for it to dissolve properly.
Always go to stir it for like 5 to 6 hours interval. Then after the 3 days, it will clear up and a white residue will be left at the button of the bowl or container. You’ll have to filter it using a white handkerchief, cover it and keep for the next 12 hours to clear up. Then filter it again and store it in a very strong and thick plastic container. Proceed to bottling and selling….
